Heard Around The Dojo

Family Christmas Party

This year's Family Christmas Party was held Thursday December 7th in the dojo. The lack of Christmas decorations did not deter everyone from having fun. Thank you to all who came out and especially to everyone who helped organize and make everything run smoothly. Click on the above picture for some more pictures.

New Dojo Opening

We are planning to open for regular classes Monday January 8th, 2007. We may however be open earlier for a Keiko Hajime day/night. This will be the first training sessions of 2007 and will be special classes. This plan is dependant on us getting all the work done quickly.

We are Moving!!!

We are moving the dojo to 1652A Bayly Street (Brock and Bayly) and should be in the new location by January 1st, 2007. It has been very slow going up until now but things should really start to take off now.

Karate Class Thursday December 14th

The karate class will be visiting Sensei Harry Persaud's dojo in Markham located in the Temple on 14th Ave and Kennedy Rd. All students are invited to attend and details of time and directions will be available at the dojo soon.

West of Kennedy Rd on 14th Ave on the south side. Large Hindu Temple, enter on the East side of the building.

DVDs Now Available

We now have available DVDs of all previous Dojo events, including your last kyu or dan test. Please order from the dojo or email the dojo.

Renseikan Dojo Crests

The Renseikan Dojo Crests are now available at the dojo. They can be used in many ways, on your dogi it should go on the left side, over your heart.

Winter Holidays

The Clements Rd dojo will be closed Saturday December 23rd. The Bayly Street Dojo will open Monday January 8th, 2007. Please keep watching the web site as we may be open earlier for Keiko Hajime classes (Start of training classes). We are going to use the down time to the final tear down of the Clements Rd dojo and the final touches of the Bayly Street Dojo. As always there will be lots to do so although the dojo are closed for classes, they will be open for working in. Please let us know by phone or email if you can help.
