Congratulations to Greg Payne and his son Chris who passed their brown belts and orange belt respectively on Thursday night. Good Work!

New Schedule Starts June 14th

We have a new schedule starting Monday June 14th, 2010. We have added two new Adult only Karate classes on Monday and Thursday evenings. There will also be a Saturday morning Adult only class beginning in September 2010.

Monday and Thursday:

  • 6pm - 6:45pm White, Yellow and Orange belt children / Family class
  • 7pm - 7:50pm Green belt and up children / Family class
  • 8pm - 9pm Adult Karate class
  • 9pm-10pm Adult Aikido Class

New Adult Fees

Along with the new schedule, there will be new fees associated with the revision. The new fees only effect adults planning on taking the new classes in addition to the family classes.

New HST tax on fees

As of July 1st, 2010 all fees paid must include the new HST. Fees currently include GST (5%) and as of July 1st must include the HST (13%) instead of the GST(5%).

Please note that any cheques dated prior to July 1st, 2010 do not need to include the HST, only the GST. This means if you decide to pay your fees in advance, you will receive an 8% savings on your training fees. Fee schedules will be available at the dojo. They can also be requested by email anytime.

May Long Weekend Holiday

The Dojo will be closed on Saturday May 22nd and Monday May 24th for the Victoria Day long weekend. Please enjoy a safe and wonderful holiday weekend.

Introduce your friends or family to the martial arts. During the Week of June 7th and June 14th you can bring as many people as you like to try a martial arts class with you. All we need is a signed waiver (by a parent if the person is under 18 years old) and tell them to bring track pants and a t-shirt for the class.
