Chida Sensei Clinic
Chida Shuseki Shihan, Head Instructor of the Hombu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan, held a special clinic at Seimeikan Dojo Sunday May 27th which was very well attended. Thanks to Karasawa Sensei of Seimeikan Dojo for arranging this special clinic and special thanks to Jim and Sue Jeannette of the Aiki Centre of Canada in Windsor for bringing Chida Sensei to Canada for a series of clinics this last week at the Aiki Centre of Canada. The class at Seimeikan emphasized TenchiNage and the various ways to move in response to different uke movements. As always Chida Sensei was amazing and extremely approachable both during and after the clinic. We will have pictures shortly.
Friendship Night
On May 26th we held another Friendship night, where current and past students of karate, jodo and aikido get together for a martial arts class (in this case karate), and then share some refreshments after. We do this every month but we never remember to take any pictures. Please look for our next Friendship Night (an Aikido class) coming up in June and be sure to join us. Maybe you can remember to take some pictures!
Dojo Spring Cleaning
On April 21st students gathered to participate in the annual dojo spring cleaning. Everyone was far too busy to take pictures, but a few did manage to get taken.

See - it's all done.Friendship Night
On April 29th karate, jodo and aikido students participated in an aikido class together and then shared some refreshments after. We do this every month, alternating between a karate class and an aikido class. We never seem to remember to take any pictures of the class - having too much fun! But we did remember to take some pictures after the class.
